wpForo - Topic Custom Fields

Standard forum topics give members a title and a text box, which is often too little for a support forum, a classified board or a business directory. This plugin lets you design the topic form yourself. You arrange fields in rows and columns with a drag-and-drop builder, and no coding is needed.

You can create different forms for different forums and usergroups, and clone a form when a new one is similar. Custom fields also join the forum search form, so members can filter topics by the criteria you define. The plugin works as an addon to wpForo and extends its native topic creation.

Features

• Drag-and-drop form builder: Create topic submission forms with rows and columns, placing each field exactly where you want it, with no coding knowledge required.
• Forms per forum and usergroup: Assign different custom forms to different forums or usergroups, so each part of your community collects the information that suits it.
• Wide range of field types: Choose from text, email, phone, URL, date, number, dropdown, radio, checkbox, textarea, file upload, HTML and multivalue autocomplete fields to gather the data you need.
• Detailed field settings: Set labels, placeholders, tooltips and icons, add validation such as minimum or maximum length or value, and mark fields as required or guest-only.
• Search and filter by custom fields: Custom fields can be added to the forum search form, letting members find topics by the specific criteria you have defined.
• Clone existing forms: Duplicate a custom topic form to set up similar forms for other forums or usergroups without rebuilding each one.
• Responsive form layouts: Custom topic forms are designed to work on desktop and mobile screens, so members can post from any device.
