Overview
Shoppers who find an empty shelf usually leave and may never return. WooCommerce Waitlist gives them a way to stay connected. A customer joins the waitlist for a product, and when it is restocked, the plugin sends an email telling them it is available again. It works with simple products, variations and grouped products, so your whole catalog is covered.
For the store team, the plugin adds waitlist management to the WordPress admin area, where you can view and manage waitlists and see which products have the highest demand. That information helps when you decide what to restock first. Customers can also review and edit their own waitlists from their account. It suits any WooCommerce shop that sometimes runs out of stock.
Features
- Back-in-stock email notifications: Customers on a waitlist receive an automatic email as soon as the product is restocked, so they can come back and complete the purchase.
- Support for all product types: Waitlists work with simple products, variable products with variations, and grouped products, so you do not need to leave parts of your catalog out.
- Admin waitlist management: View, manage and prioritize waitlists from the WordPress admin area, and see which products have the highest demand to guide your restocking.
- Your Waitlists account tab: Customers can review and edit the waitlists they have joined from a dedicated Your Waitlists tab in their account dashboard.
- Flexible button placement: Place waitlist opt-in buttons where they suit your store, including product pages and archive or shop pages, with customizable opt-in elements.
- Admin email alerts: Store admins can receive an email when a customer joins a waitlist, which keeps you aware of demand without checking manually.
- Minimum stock threshold controls: Set the stock level that must be reached before back-in-stock emails go out, which avoids sending notifications too early.
- CSV export and archive: Export waitlist user data for analysis or marketing, and keep records of waitlists and the notifications that were sent.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores that regularly sell out of popular items
- Store managers planning restocking around customer demand
- Shops with variable or grouped products
