Ultimate Member - Profile Completeness

Sites with open registration often collect profiles that are mostly blank. That makes a member directory thin and makes it harder for members to trust who they are talking to. This extension addresses the problem by showing each member which fields remain and how far along the profile is, using a progress bar in a sidebar widget.

You decide how strict to be. Pick which fields count toward completeness and give each one its own weight, such as gender at 5% and country at 10%. Set different rules for different user roles. You can also tie access to completion, for example by keeping incomplete profiles out of the directory or by sending members to their edit profile page until they reach the required level.

Features

• Sidebar progress widgets: Widgets list the profile fields a member has not filled in yet and show a progress bar, so members can see what is left to finish.
• Pop-up profile editing: Members can update their missing profile fields in a pop-up form from anywhere on the site, without going to a separate edit page first.
• Forced profile completion: Redirect members to their edit profile page until their profile reaches the completeness threshold you set, which keeps member data filled in.
• Directory visibility threshold: Set a minimum completeness percentage for appearing in the member directory, so only members with filled-in profiles are listed publicly.
• Weighted profile fields: Choose which fields count toward completeness and assign each a weight, for example gender worth 5% and country worth 10%.
• Role-based settings: Turn completeness tracking on for selected user roles and assign different required fields to each role to match your onboarding.
• Shortcode progress bars: Place a profile progress bar anywhere on your website with a shortcode so members can check their completion status in context.
• Activity restrictions: Block members from commenting, creating topics, replying in bbPress forums or viewing other profiles until they meet the completion goal. Widgets disappear once a profile is complete.
