Ultimate Member - bbPress

Sites that run bbPress forums alongside Ultimate Member often end up with two separate sets of user pages. Ultimate Member – bbPress solves that by moving bbPress user profiles into Ultimate Member profiles and redirecting forum user links to them. Members and visitors land on one consistent profile, wherever they click a username.

The plugin works without any bbPress template editing. Once connected, a dedicated forums tab on each profile shows a member's topics and replies, along with topic and reply counts. Administrators can also restrict content by role, set post and reply permissions per forum, and control which roles see the forums tab. It suits small niche communities and larger sites with many member roles.

Features

• Automatic profile transfer: bbPress user profiles are carried over into Ultimate Member profiles automatically, so each member keeps one consistent identity across the site without manual work.
• Forum link redirection: Links to forum users are redirected to the matching Ultimate Member profile, which keeps all profile views in a single place.
• Forums tab on profiles: A dedicated forums tab lets people browse a member's topics and replies directly from that member's profile page.
• Topic and reply counts: Profiles display how many topics and replies a member has posted, giving a quick view of their forum activity.
• Subscriptions and favorites control: Members can manage their forum subscriptions and favorites from their own profile dashboard, shaping their forum experience themselves.
• Role-based tab visibility: Choose which user roles can see the forums tab on profiles, so different kinds of members get different experiences.
• No template editing needed: The integration works without changes to bbPress templates, which keeps setup simple and avoids conflicts with your existing forum files.
• Content restriction and permissions: Restrict forum and topic access by role, set post and reply permissions by role and forum, and disable topic creation on chosen weekdays for specific roles.
