Overview
Forms often collect files and details that someone has to move by hand: job applications, client documents, images or feedback with attachments. This addon removes that step. Once it is connected to a form, entries and uploads go straight to Google Drive, where they are stored in the cloud and can be reached from any device you use with your account.
You decide where things land. Pick an existing Google Drive folder or create a new one, then add conditional rules so only certain submissions are sent. File names can be generated from form data, which keeps folders tidy and makes searching simpler. The addon is built for WPForms users and works with its drag-and-drop form builder. Files can also be shared with your team through Google Drive.
Features
- Automatic sending to Google Drive: Form entries, uploaded files and other user-submitted data are sent from WPForms to Google Drive automatically, so nobody needs to export or move them by hand.
- Choose or create folders: Select an existing Google Drive folder or create a new one for your submissions. Choosing an existing folder in the Form Builder is limited to site administrators.
- Conditional submission rules: Set filters so only certain types of submissions are saved to Google Drive, which gives you control over which data goes to cloud storage.
- Smart file naming: File names can be generated from form data. Meaningful names make stored submissions easier to search and manage inside your Drive folders.
- Support for many file types: Uploaded files such as images, PDFs and documents can be stored in Google Drive, so one setup covers different kinds of forms.
- Works with the form builder: The addon is designed for WPForms and fits alongside its drag-and-drop form builder, so you configure storage where you already build your forms.
- Drive links in notifications: Email notifications can carry Google Drive links to stored files, including when local files are deleted after upload and entry storage is disabled.
- Links in scheduled exports: Google Drive links are included in scheduled Entry Automation exports, so exported records can point to the files stored in your Drive.
Best for
- WPForms sites collecting uploaded files or documents
- Teams that share submissions through Google Drive
- Sites handling job applications or client intake forms
