WP Sheet Editor - Redirection

Renaming media files one at a time is slow, and a changed filename breaks the old URL. Images linked from other sites or saved in backlinks can then show up as broken. This extension tackles both problems. You edit filenames in bulk in a spreadsheet layout, and each change gets a 301 redirect from the old address to the new one.

The redirects are triggered through the Redirection plugin and its extension, so both need to be in place alongside the core WP Sheet Editor plugin. Once they are, a filename change in the sheet sends visitors and external links to the renamed file. It fits sites with large media libraries that need tidy, consistent file names.
