wpForo - User Custom Fields

Forum members often need more than a username and an email address on their profile. wpForo – User Custom Fields gives administrators a way to create, edit and organize both the default and new profile fields inside wpForo, without adding a separate profile builder plugin. A drag-and-drop form builder sets the layout with rows and columns.

The same fields can feed registration forms, account settings, profile pages and members search forms. Permissions are set per usergroup, so each field is seen or edited only by the roles you choose. Sites that already use Profile Builder can display those field values, and sites moving from BuddyPress can bring over their custom field data.

Features

• Custom field management: Create, edit and organize default and new user profile fields from one place, so member profiles reflect the information your community wants to collect.
• Many field types: Collect short text, emails, phone numbers, links, dates, numbers, passwords, choice lists, file uploads, avatars, usergroups, colors and custom HTML through the field types available.
• Drag-and-drop form builder: Design registration, account settings and members search forms by arranging layout rows and columns, with no code needed to shape the form.
• Per-usergroup permissions: Set who can view and who can edit each field by usergroup, which keeps sensitive details private and shows members only what fits their role.
• Profile Builder integration: Use existing Profile Builder fields and show their values in member directories, user profiles, forum topics and posts for consistent user data.
• Custom profile page layout: Build and adjust the layout of user profile pages so the information that matters most to your community appears where members will see it.
• Custom members search: Create search forms based on your own community fields, so members can look up other members using the criteria that suit your site.
• Backup, export and import: Back up your custom field setup and form structures, then move the settings to another site. A BuddyPress migration tool imports existing custom field data.
