wpDiscuz - Private Comments

Public comment sections are not always the right place for a sensitive question, personal feedback or a private exchange with a site team. This add-on lets a commenter mark a comment as private, so only the comment author, moderators and administrators can read it. The rest of the discussion stays open to everyone, so the public thread keeps running as usual.

It works as an add-on for the wpDiscuz plugin and uses its real-time, AJAX-based commenting. A private icon sits next to the submit button, and a [Private] button appears on parent comments. Site owners decide which user roles can post private comments and which roles moderate them.
