Overview

Magazine and news sites carry a lot of content across many topics, and readers need to find their way around quickly. This theme is designed for that job. You can pick from multiple header and footer layouts, adjust the color schemes, and give each category its own color so sections are easy to tell apart. The Customizer shows changes as you make them, so no coding is needed.

The theme also covers the practical side of publishing. Custom widgets suit magazine layouts, such as featured posts, trending news and social media feeds. Standard, video, audio, gallery and other post formats are supported, and an author bio card on the author archive page shows an avatar, role, bio, expertise and social links. WooCommerce compatibility lets you add a shop to a magazine or blog, and translation files are included for multilingual sites.

Features

  • Header and footer layouts: Choose from multiple header and footer layouts to shape your site's structure and match your brand. A builder lets you arrange the components in each area.
  • Color schemes: Pick from a range of color schemes or create your own palette, so the whole site keeps one consistent look that suits your publication.
  • Category color options: Assign a unique color to each category so readers can tell sections apart at a glance. Category badges stay readable when set to a light color.
  • Magazine-focused custom widgets: Custom widgets are designed for news and magazine sites, including featured posts, trending news and social media feeds, which you can place in your sidebars and layouts.
  • Multiple post formats: Present content the way it fits best, with support for standard, video, audio, gallery and other post formats on your blog or news pages.
  • WooCommerce compatibility: Add an online store to your magazine or blog with WooCommerce support, so shop pages can sit alongside your articles and sections.
  • Customizer with live changes: Adjust your site's appearance in the WordPress Customizer and see changes in real time. Sidebar layout settings apply to posts, pages, the blog and search.
  • Author bio cards: The author archive page can show a bio card with avatar, role, bio, expertise and social links, which helps readers get to know your writers.

Best for

  • Online magazines and digital news portals
  • Bloggers running multi-category content sites
  • Publishers who want a shop alongside articles
