Typology - Minimalist Blog & Text Based Theme for WordPress

Many blog themes lean on large images and busy layouts, which can pull attention away from the writing. Typology takes the opposite approach. Its design is built on typography, so the site looks good with or without images. If you publish mostly text, you do not need to hunt for photos to make each page feel finished.

The theme suits personal blogs where reading comes first. Writers, book authors and poets can use it to present their work in a calm, uncluttered way. Tech and coding bloggers who prefer a clean, distraction free look will also find it a good match, since the layout keeps readers focused on the content.

Features

• Minimalist blog design: The theme uses a clean, minimal look made for blogs, so posts stay in front and nothing competes with the words on the page.
• Text based layout: Typology is a text based theme, built for sites where articles, essays, poems or notes are the main content rather than photo galleries.
• Typography at the core: The design is built on beautiful typography, which gives the site its character and keeps text pleasant to read.
• Looks good without images: Because the style comes from type, posts do not need featured images to look polished, which helps writers who publish text only.
• Distraction free reading: A clean layout keeps visitors focused on what you wrote, with little around the content to pull their attention away.
• Made for writers and authors: The theme is designed for writers, book authors and poets who just want to write and share their work online.
• Fits tech and coding blogs: Personal blogs about technology, coding and similar topics can use the same clean look if they prefer a simple presentation.
