Croma - Music WordPress Theme with Ajax and Continuous Playback

Music sites often have one awkward problem: the track stops each time a visitor clicks a link. Croma addresses this with an Ajax audio player. Pages load without interrupting playback, so a listener can browse albums, artist profiles and events while the music carries on. The player controls can also be adjusted to suit the look of your site and the way your visitors listen.

Croma ships with nine ready-made layouts that can be customized, so you can start from a design that fits your genre and branding. It includes dedicated pages for albums, artists and events, which gives a discography, a roster or a gig schedule a clear home. The theme is fully responsive and Retina ready, so layouts and images stay sharp on desktops, tablets and smartphones.

Features

• Ajax audio player: The player uses Ajax, so visitors can move between pages without the audio being cut off. Playback continues as they browse the rest of your site.
• Continuous playback: Music keeps playing across page changes, which suits sites where listening is the main activity, such as artist portfolios, label catalogs and DJ pages.
• Nine ready layouts: Choose from nine ready-made layouts that can be customized to match different musical styles and personal or label branding, which gives you a starting design for setup.
• Album pages: Dedicated album pages give your releases an organized place on the site, so visitors can browse your discography in a consistent layout.
• Artist pages: Artist pages let you profile individual musicians, which is useful for bands with several members and labels that represent a roster of acts.
• Event pages: Event pages help you present upcoming shows and gigs in a clear layout, so fans can see where and when you are performing.
• Customizable player controls: Playback features can be tailored to fit your site's design and your visitors' preferences, so the player matches the rest of the theme.
• Responsive, Retina ready design: The theme adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones, and its graphics are prepared for high-resolution displays so images stay sharp.
