Niftyfifty

Portfolio sites work best when nothing competes with the images. Niftyfifty keeps the interface uncluttered and offers a masonry grid that handles photos of different sizes without awkward cropping. You can switch between a dark and a light skin in the WordPress Customizer to match the mood of your work.

Galleries are created with the Jetpack plugin, which lets you control columns, categories and the information shown for each project. The layout is responsive and retina-ready, and it uses the srcset attribute to serve a suitable image size for each device. Niftyfifty is a native WordPress theme with no proprietary framework, so you can change themes later and keep your content.
