Empathy - Animated vCard WordPress Theme

A personal site often has one job: show who you are and what you have made. Empathy handles this with a vCard-style layout where pages move in and out with animation. It is aimed at professionals, creatives and freelancers who want a single, distinctive place to present their skills, projects and personality.

The theme is built with HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, and it adapts to different screens, including retina displays. Fonts, colors, layouts and animations can be changed live in the WordPress Customizer, so no coding is needed. A portfolio with filtering and a lightbox sits alongside a blog that supports all post formats.

Features

• Animated page transitions: The layout includes 67 different page in-out animations, giving the site a moving, vCard-style feel as visitors go from one section to the next.
• Responsive and retina ready: The design adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones, and visual elements stay sharp on high-resolution retina screens.
• Filterable AJAX portfolio: Show your projects in a portfolio that visitors can filter by category. A custom-styled, mobile-optimized lightbox opens images, videos and audio.
• Blog with all post formats: Publish updates, stories and insights using a blog that supports every WordPress post format, alongside the portfolio and resume pages.
• Live customization in the Customizer: Adjust colors, layout settings and animations in the WordPress Customizer and preview changes as you make them, without writing code.
• 600+ Google Fonts: Pick typography from more than 600 Google Fonts to match your personal brand, and apply your choices through the theme's customization options.
• Responsive video embeds: Embed videos that resize properly and work in multiple aspect ratios, so media fits cleanly on any screen size.
• Cross-browser compatibility: The theme is built with clean, semantic code and is tested to work across all major browsers.
