Overview

A site under construction still needs a front door. Expedition gives you a coming soon page with a minimalist, modern look that you build in the Elementor page builder using drag and drop. Advanced content management comes through ACF Pro, so you can adjust the details to match your brand without writing code.

You pick one of four page layouts: a color background, a single image, an image slideshow or a video background from YouTube, Vimeo or HTML5. Animated background effects add motion on top. The page is responsive and retina-ready, and it works with WooCommerce, which suits stores that want to build interest before opening.

Features

  • Built with Elementor: Design the page with Elementor's drag-and-drop editor, with ACF Pro handling advanced content management, so you can adjust layouts and content without coding.
  • Four page layouts: Choose a color background, a single image, an image slideshow or a video background. Video sources include YouTube, Vimeo and HTML5.
  • 90 background effects: Animated effects include Rain, Fireworks, Particles, Starfield, Droplets, Perlin Noise, Mouse Trail and Fluid Cursor, giving the page movement behind your message.
  • Countdown timer and progress bar: Show visitors when the site goes live with a built-in countdown timer, and use the progress bar to show how far along the launch is.
  • Responsive, retina-ready design: The page adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones, and retina-ready graphics stay crisp on high-resolution displays.
  • WooCommerce compatibility: The theme works with WooCommerce, so a store can move from the coming soon page to a live shop and talk to early visitors in the meantime.
  • Modern front-end tools: The theme uses Bootstrap 5 and Font Awesome Pro icons for layout and iconography, so the page has a consistent, current look.
  • Google Maps support: Maps load asynchronously and support Advanced Markers with Map ID, which is handy if your launch page shows a business location.

Best for

  • Businesses preparing a new website launch
  • Agencies building holding pages for clients
  • Online stores gathering interest before opening
