Opta – Minimal Portfolio and Photography Theme

Creative work can get lost on a busy site. Opta takes the opposite approach, using a clean layout and restrained typography so images and projects get the attention. It suits photographers, designers, artists and bloggers who want a simple, refined place to present what they make.

The theme includes custom portfolio and gallery post types, several slider styles and a shortcode generator for adding elements without code. It is responsive and Retina ready, works across major browsers, and supports multilingual sites. It is also compatible with WPML, Polylang, Contact Form 7 and AddToAny, and it includes XML demo content to help with setup.

Features

• Portfolio and gallery post types: Custom post types are made for presenting photography and artwork projects, so you can organize your work in portfolios and galleries instead of ordinary blog posts.
• Multiple slider options: Choose from simple image sliders, text sliders and carousel sliders to present content in a way that fits each page of your portfolio.
• Shortcode generator: A built-in shortcode generator lets you add custom elements to your pages without writing code, which helps if you are not a developer.
• Responsive and Retina ready: The layout adapts from desktops to smartphones, and Retina readiness keeps images sharp on high-density screens.
• Multilingual support: Opta includes .POT files and works with WPML and Polylang, so you can offer your portfolio in more than one language.
• Contact Form 7 and AddToAny: The theme is compatible with Contact Form 7 for contact forms and AddToAny for social sharing buttons on your projects.
• Google Web Font support: Google Web Fonts give you a range of typography choices, so you can match the text style to your brand and personality.
• Demo content and documentation: XML demo content and documentation are included, which gives beginners a starting point for setting up their site.
