Caliris – Responsive One Page WordPress Theme

Many portfolio sites send visitors through a string of separate pages, and each click means a reload. Caliris keeps everything on one page instead. It uses AJAX to load Portfolio and Team custom post types on the front single page, so a project or team member appears without refreshing. Smooth scroll navigation moves visitors between sections of the one-page layout, and the layout adapts to desktops, tablets and phones.

The theme comes with nine premade sections and a simple image slider, so you can arrange a page without building each block from scratch. An XML demo content file lets you start from a finished example and replace it with your own material. For sites in more than one language, Caliris works with WPML and Polylang and includes .POT files for use with Loco Translate. A child theme and written documentation are included for customizing the site.

Features

• AJAX content loading: Portfolio and Team post types load on the front single page without a refresh, so visitors can open projects and profiles while staying on the same page.
• Portfolio and Team post types: Dedicated custom post types let you manage your creative work and your team members in their own sections, each designed for visual presentation.
• Responsive layout: The design adjusts to different screen sizes, from desktops to smartphones, so the site stays usable and consistent across devices.
• Nine premade sections: Nine ready-made page sections and a simple image slider give you flexible building blocks for presenting content on the one-page layout.
• Smooth scroll navigation: Visitors move between sections of the one-page layout with fluid scrolling transitions instead of abrupt jumps down the page.
• Demo content in XML: An XML demo content file can be imported so you start from a populated example site and then swap in your own text and images.
• Multilingual and translation ready: Compatible with WPML and Polylang for multilingual sites, and includes .POT files that work with Loco Translate for localizing the theme text.
• Child theme and documentation: A child theme lets you customize the site while keeping your changes through theme updates, and the documentation guides you through setup and customization.
