YITH Woocommerce Composite Products

Some products are hard to sell as a single listing. A computer, a bicycle or a gift basket is made of parts, and buyers want to choose them. This plugin lets you define those parts as components, then guide shoppers through the choices in a clear order so they do not miss anything needed to complete the product.

You decide how each component behaves. You can pull in products by name, category or tag, set minimum and maximum quantities, and make certain choices required. Rules can force or exclude options based on earlier picks, which helps prevent incompatible combinations. Pricing and shipping can be set for the whole kit or built up from its parts.

Features

• Build-your-own product kits: Customers assemble a product from multiple components, choosing the items they want for things like a gift basket, a custom computer setup or a furniture set.
• Fixed or summed pricing: Set a fixed base price for the composite product, or let the total be calculated by adding up the prices of the components the customer selects.
• Three display layouts: Show components as a list, an accordion list or a step-by-step flow, so the configuration process fits the complexity of your product.
• Several selection styles: Let shoppers choose components with a dropdown, thumbnails or radio buttons, depending on how you want each option to be presented.
• Components by product, category or tag: Choose specific products, whole categories or tags as the source for each component, which keeps the available options relevant to that part of the kit.
• Quantity limits and required items: Set minimum and maximum purchasable quantities per component, and require specific components to be chosen so orders are not left incomplete.
• Component discounts: Apply individual discounts to components inside a composite product, giving you control over how each part is priced within the kit.
• Dependencies and shipping options: Create rules that force or exclude choices based on earlier selections. Shipping can use one cost for the whole kit or add up fees from each component.
