Overview
Shoppers want to know when a parcel will arrive, and unclear delivery times lead to questions and complaints. This plugin lets you set minimum and maximum delivery days, then shows the earliest date, the latest date, or a date range. Customers can plan ahead and make sure someone is home to receive the order.
The estimate follows your real schedule. Weekends, holidays and vacation periods can be excluded, and dates adjust to the shipping method, zone and customer address. You can set rules for the whole store or override them on single products. Translated date formats and editable messages make it workable for stores that sell to several regions.
Features
- Minimum and maximum delivery days: Set a delivery time range so each order shows an expected window. Choose to display the earliest date, the latest date, or a full date range.
- Storewide and product-level rules: Apply global delivery rules to the whole shop, or turn them off for a specific product and enter a unique delivery time for special cases.
- Exclusion of non-delivery days: Weekends, holidays and vacation breaks are removed from the calculation. Multiple skipped dates can be added for recurring or special closures.
- Shipping method and zone awareness: Estimated dates change according to the shipping option the customer selects and their location, so the timeframe matches how the order will actually travel.
- Cut-off time and extra processing: Add an extra shipping day when an order is placed after your cutoff time. A countdown can be shown in messages using the {countdown} or {time_left} tag.
- Cart page delivery summary: Show one combined delivery estimate for every item in the cart, which helps when products ship by different methods or to different zones.
- Localized dates and custom messages: Display dates in local language formats and edit the delivery messages, including the {date} tag and a customizable countdown format, for audiences in different countries.
- Shortcode placement: Use the [wpced] shortcode to put estimated delivery information anywhere on product or checkout pages. It also works with the WPC Fly Cart popup.
