Divi Breadcrumbs

Visitors who land deep inside a site often lose track of where they are. A breadcrumb trail answers that question at a glance by showing the path of pages or posts that leads to the current one, and it gives them an easy way back up the hierarchy. This plugin adds that trail to Divi and Extra sites so people can move through your content with less guesswork.

The plugin has no settings page to work through. It starts working as soon as it is active, and it uses the icon set already built into your theme, so it adds no extra assets. Appearance is handled in the WordPress Customizer, where you can match fonts, sizes and layout to your brand. The trail covers pages, posts, projects and custom post types, along with their taxonomies.

Features

• Works with Divi and Extra: The plugin is made for the Divi and Extra themes, so the breadcrumb trail fits the styling already in place across your site.
• No settings to configure: There is no setup screen to work through. The breadcrumb trail starts appearing once the plugin is active, which saves time on new builds.
• Uses built-in theme icons: Breadcrumb separators come from your theme's own icon set, so the plugin avoids loading extra assets and stays light on the server.
• Customizer styling controls: Adjust font styles, sizes and layout through the WordPress Customizer so the trail matches your brand identity and the rest of your design.
• Covers all archive types: Breadcrumbs work for pages, posts, projects and custom post types, and the plugin accounts for all taxonomies without extra setup.
• Clear content hierarchy cues: The trail shows the path of pages or posts leading to the current one, helping visitors understand where they are in your content.
• Helps internal linking: Each step in the trail links back up the hierarchy, which clarifies how your content types relate and adds useful internal links.
• Subtle visual design: The trails are understated, so they guide navigation without crowding the layout or competing with the rest of your page design.

Best for

• Sites built with the Divi theme
