WP Responsive Recent Post Slider

Lists of recent posts often sit on a page as plain text that visitors scroll past. This plugin presents those posts in a slider instead, so each one gets space on the page. Each slide can show the thumbnail, title, date and excerpt, which gives readers a quick look at what is new before they click through.

You control how the slider looks and behaves. Colors, fonts, speed and navigation arrows can be adjusted to fit your branding, and layouts include horizontal, vertical and carousel. A shortcode places the slider on pages, posts and widgets. It can also feature custom post types, so it fits more than a standard blog.

Features

• Responsive slider design: The slider adapts to different screen sizes, so your recent posts display on desktops and on mobile phones.
• Customizable look: Adjust colors, fonts, slider speed, navigation arrows and more to match your site's branding, with no coding skills needed.
• Several layout styles: Pick a horizontal, vertical or carousel layout to suit how you want your content presented.
• Shortcode placement: Insert the slider with a shortcode on pages, posts and widgets, wherever you want recent posts to appear.
• Thumbnails and excerpts: Show post thumbnails, titles, dates and excerpts in each slide so visitors get a snapshot of your latest content.
• Custom post type support: Feature custom post types in the slider as well as blog posts, which suits sites with varied content.
• Arrows and pagination dots: Navigation controls let visitors move through recent posts using arrows or pagination dots.
