Overview
Advanced Custom Fields gives you a flexible way to structure data in the admin, but showing those fields to visitors usually takes custom code. Advanced Forms Pro for ACF closes that gap. You build forms with a visual interface, or define forms and fields in code, and the plugin displays them on the front end of your site.
The plugin works with ACF field types, including repeaters, galleries and date pickers, so a form can match the data your site already uses. Submissions can send email notifications, post to Slack, sign people up to Mailchimp or pass data to other services through Zapier. - Security Fixed a missing authorization check on the form import handler. An unauthenticated request to admin-post.php could overwrite an existing form (identified by its publicly visible form key) and inject stored cross-site scripting via the form description — potentially leading to site takeover. The import handler now requires the edit_pages capability and a valid nonce, and rejects malformed uploads.
- Security Form titles and descriptions are now sanitised on output (esc_html() for the title, wp_kses_post() for the description).
- Fixed Fixed a PHP warning ("Trying to access array offset on value of type null") when saving a form.
