Fixed prices do not fit every product. Some stores want to accept donations, let patrons pay what they can, or collect payments for bills and invoices where the amount changes. WooCommerce Name Your Price adds a field to selected products so the customer types in the amount, and you keep control over the boundaries around it.

You enable the Name Your Price option on a product and adjust the settings, including minimum, maximum and suggested amounts.
