Soliloquy Featured Content Addon

Building a slider slide by slide takes time, and the slides go stale when your content changes. Soliloquy Featured Content Addon pulls slides straight from your posts, pages or custom post types, so a slider can show your latest blog posts, product entries, testimonials or listings such as real estate. You decide which content sources feed the slider and how each slide looks.

The addon works together with the Soliloquy core slider and adds the content sourcing on top of it. You can combine several post types and taxonomies in one slider, include or exclude specific posts, and set the order of the slides. New sliders are added through an External Tab interface, which keeps setup approachable for people who do not write code. It fits bloggers, online stores and agencies that want to feature existing content in a responsive slider.

Features

• Slides from existing content: Create sliders automatically from posts, pages, products, testimonials or any custom post type, so the slider draws on content you have already published.
• Multiple post types and taxonomies: Select several post types and taxonomies at once and combine different content sources in a single slider for a more tailored presentation.
• Include or exclude posts: Filter by choosing specific posts to include or leave out, which gives you direct control over which items appear in the slider.
• Customizable slide order: Sort slides by date, menu order or any order parameter supported by WP_Query, so visitors see your content in the sequence you choose.
• Flexible slide display: Show slides as plain images or as linked images with titles and excerpts, depending on the style and message of your site.
• Responsive sliders: Sliders adapt to different devices and screen sizes, so the same slider displays properly on desktop, tablet and phone screens.
• External Tab setup: Add new sliders through the External Tab interface, a simple starting point for users at any experience level.
• Works with Soliloquy core: The addon plugs into the Soliloquy slider engine, adding dynamic content sourcing to the slider features you already use.
