SearchWP EDD Integration

The default WordPress and EDD search often misses products because it looks at a limited set of content. SearchWP EDD Integration replaces that with a custom search engine built for digital product stores. It indexes product attributes, taxonomies, custom fields and even PDF content, so more of your catalog can be found with the words customers actually type.

Once products are indexed, you decide how results behave. You can adjust the weighting of results, reorder them by keyword or other criteria, and hide items that no longer belong in search. Live search suggestions appear as visitors type, and search forms can be placed around the site. Built-in analytics show what people look for in your store.

Features

• Custom EDD search engine: Replaces the default search with a engine built for Easy Digital Downloads, aiming to return more accurate and relevant product results for shoppers browsing your digital catalog.
• Full product attribute indexing: Indexes product details, taxonomies, custom fields and PDF content, so information stored in many places across your digital products can be searched.
• Adjustable search weighting: Fine-tune how results are weighted so featured products, seasonal deals or high-margin items can appear ahead of other matches.
• Live instant product search: Shows Ajax-powered suggestions and product autofill as visitors type, so they can reach a product without submitting a full search first.
• Related product suggestions: Suggests relevant digital downloads during or after checkout, giving customers a path to other products that may suit them.
