Restrict Content Pro - Easy Digital Downloads Wallet

Stores that sell digital products and run memberships often ask customers to enter payment details again and again. This plugin addresses that with a wallet system. Customers preload funds, then use those credits on later orders, so checkout takes fewer steps. Site owners can also hand out credits as rewards or refunds, which gives buyers a reason to come back to the store.

The plugin sits between Easy Digital Downloads and Restrict Content Pro. Wallet use follows the membership access levels and subscription rules set in RCP, while purchases and redemptions run through the payment gateways already working in EDD. It suits stores that already use both plugins and want credits to fit into the setup they have, with hooks and filters available for custom workflows.

Features

• Preloaded wallet credits: Customers can add funds to a wallet ahead of time and spend those credits on later purchases in Easy Digital Downloads without entering payment details each time.
• Credits as rewards or refunds: Site owners can issue wallet credits as rewards or refunds, which gives customers a reason to return and buy again from the store.
• Automatic balance tracking: The plugin tracks each user's wallet balance and updates it as credits are added or spent, so customers and store owners can see where things stand.
• Restrict Content Pro compatibility: Wallet usage respects the membership access levels and subscription rules you have set up in Restrict Content Pro, keeping both systems consistent.
• Adjustable wallet settings: Define credit expiration, purchase limits and promotional credit offers to match how your business wants to run its wallet.
