Profile Builder - bbPress Add-on

Forums built on bbPress come with basic user profiles and standard forms. If your site already uses Profile Builder for registration and custom fields, that leaves two sets of profile data to maintain. This add-on joins them, so the information a member enters is consistent across the forum and the rest of the site.

It works by extending the native bbPress profiles rather than asking you to edit templates or write code. bbPress user links point to Profile Builder profiles, its edit page is replaced by Profile Builder forms, and avatars added there appear in the forums. It suits community forums and membership sites that use both plugins.

Features

• Automatic profile synchronization: bbPress user profiles are kept in sync with the extended Profile Builder profiles, so the data stays accurate and consistent between the forum and the rest of your site.
• Profile link redirection: Every bbPress user profile link redirects to the matching Profile Builder profile, so members always land on the customized version of a profile page.
• Custom avatars in forums: Avatars that members add through Profile Builder are shown inside bbPress forums, giving each participant a consistent identity across topics and replies.
• Shared registration and login forms: Replace the bbPress shortcodes to let forum users register and log in through Profile Builder's customizable forms instead of the default ones.
• Advanced edit profile forms: The default bbPress Edit User page is replaced by Profile Builder's Edit Profile forms, which can include the custom fields you choose.
• User listing for forum members: Use the Profile Builder User Listing module to display bbPress forum users in a list that is easy to browse and manage on your site.
• No template editing required: The add-on works without changes to bbPress templates or code, so you can set up the integration without development work.
• Built for Profile Builder Pro: It is designed to work with Profile Builder Pro and its user profile and registration tools, extending them to your bbPress forums.
