Paid Memberships Pro - Proration Add On

Membership sites often run into awkward billing moments. A person signs up on day twenty of a monthly cycle, or switches levels halfway through, and a flat fee feels unfair. This add on solves that by working out the amount based on the exact days left in the billing cycle and applying it automatically.

It runs inside the Paid Memberships Pro setup you already have, so there is no custom coding involved. You can adjust the proration rules to match your billing cycles and membership plans. Charges stay clear for members, and you can review prorated adjustments in the reporting and logs when you do your accounting.

Features

• Automated proration calculations: Charges are based on the exact days left in the billing cycle, which helps members see why they pay a given amount and reduces billing disputes.
• Works with Paid Memberships Pro: The add on fits into your existing Paid Memberships Pro setup without custom coding or complicated configuration, so current workflows stay as they are.
• Multiple proration scenarios: Proration applies to new sign-ups, membership upgrades, downgrades and renewals, giving you consistent billing logic across the common ways members move between levels.
• Customizable proration rules: Configure settings to fit your own billing cycles and membership plans, so the add on follows your business model instead of a fixed formula.
• Payment gateway compatibility: Proration behaves consistently across popular payment processors that are integrated with Paid Memberships Pro, which keeps billing predictable whichever gateway you use.
• Reporting and logs: Review prorated charges and adjustments in detailed reports and logs. This helps with accounting accuracy and gives you a clear record of what members were billed.
• Transparent member pricing: Members pay an amount that reflects when they joined or changed plans. Clear, fair pricing helps avoid billing confusion and perceived unfair charges.
• Lightweight code: The add on is built with lightweight code, so your membership site keeps running smoothly and the member experience is not weighed down.
