Paid Memberships Pro - Custom Post Type Add On

Paid Memberships Pro handles membership management for standard posts and pages. Many sites also publish content in custom post types, such as events, tutorials, case studies or products. This add-on closes that gap by letting you protect those content types the same way you protect everything else, without custom code or extra plugins.

You choose which membership levels can view each custom post type, and you manage the settings from the post editor screen. That makes tiered access simple to set up: one level sees courses, another sees case studies, and so on. Developers who want more control can use hooks and filters to adjust access rules and how content is displayed.

Features

• Custom post type access control: Restrict access to any custom post type, whether built in or added by a third party, so your protected content matches what your membership offers.
• Level-based restrictions: Assign which membership levels can view each custom post type. This supports tiered content access and gives members a clear reason to move up a level.
• Works with Paid Memberships Pro: The add-on is made to work with the Paid Memberships Pro core plugin, adding custom post type protection to the membership system you already use.
• Post editor controls: Manage restrictions directly from the post editor screen. The options are simple and need no technical knowledge to use.
• Multiple custom post types: Protect several custom content types on the same site, with no limit stated on how many post types you can restrict.
• Content suited to many niches: Use it for courses, events, portfolios, case studies or products, or any specialized content type your site publishes.
• Relevant content for each member: Members see only the content that belongs to their level, which keeps the experience clear and reduces confusion about what they can access.
• Hooks and filters for developers: Extend and customize access rules and content display with hooks and filters when you need finer control than the default options give.
