MotoPress Google Maps Addon

Many sites need to show where something is: a store, an office, several branches or stops on a trip. MotoPress Google Maps Addon covers that with a map object you drag into the MotoPress Visual Editor. You add your API keys, enter full addresses to place markers, and manage every map element from the same screen without coding.

Each marker can carry a tooltip with text, media, links and working hours. You can pick pin icons, upload your own images or use Font Awesome icons, then choose from four map types and a range of styles, including those from Snazzy Maps. On phones and tablets you can turn off scroll wheel zoom and dragging, so visitors do not move the map by accident while scrolling the page.

• Multiple custom markers: Add as many location markers as you need to one map. Each marker is placed by typing in a full address, so showing several places takes little effort.
• Visual marker description editor: Write each marker's tooltip in the WordPress TinyMCE editor. Descriptions can include rich text, media files, links and working hours.
• Custom marker icons: Use the default pins, upload your own images or choose Font Awesome icons. Size and color can be adjusted so markers match your site's design.
• Mobile map controls: Disable scroll wheel zoom and map dragging on smaller screens, and hide map controls, to prevent accidental map movement on mobile devices.
• Preset and custom map styles: Choose from 6 preset styles or apply over 1000+ styles from free services such as Snazzy Maps. You can also add your own style.
• Four map types: Switch between Road Map, Hybrid, Satellite and Terrain views, depending on what your content needs the map to show.
• Driving directions: Offer driving directions for each marker so visitors can plan a route to the location they are viewing.
• Location list below the map: Show a list of all markers under the map, with adjustable columns and width, so visitors can browse locations in an organized way.
