Meta Box Favorite Posts

Visitors often find content they want to come back to, but a site gives them no way to keep track of it. Meta Box Favorite Posts adds a wishlist-style bookmark to your content, much like the saved-item lists seen in online stores. It works for blogs, listing directories, book review sites and shops, since it handles any post type you use.

The plugin runs on the Meta Box framework and works with extensions such as MB User Profile, which lets you build a dashboard where logged-in users manage their favorites. Guests can bookmark too, if you allow it, so nobody has to register first. You choose where the button appears, or place it anywhere with a shortcode.

Features

• Bookmark any content: Visitors can save posts, pages and custom post types, so the same favorites feature works on blogs, directories, libraries and stores.
• Guest bookmarking option: Site owners can let visitors save favorites without registering, which keeps the feature open to everyone who browses the site.
• Support for logged-in users: Registered members can bookmark content too, and their saved items are tied to their account for easy return visits.
• Personal favorites dashboard: Through MB User Profile, logged-in users get a dedicated space where they can view and manage the posts they have saved.
• Flexible button placement: Show the bookmark button before or after your content, or place it wherever you need using the mbfp-button shortcode.
• Customizable button styling: Display options let you fit the bookmark button to your site's design instead of working around a fixed look.
• Built on Meta Box: The plugin uses the Meta Box framework, so it works alongside other Meta Box extensions and suits developers who want to customize further.
• Bundled extensions included: MB Settings Page, MB User Profile and MB User Meta come bundled with the plugin, so you need no separate extra extensions.
