Overview
Managing many WordPress sites makes it hard to know which one just went offline. This extension puts uptime status for all connected Child Sites in the MainWP Dashboard, so you do not need to check each site by hand. It runs checks every 5 minutes around the clock and alerts you when a site stops responding.
When it detects downtime, it runs follow-up checks within 3 minutes to confirm the problem before it notifies you, which cuts down on false alarms. Alerts can be tailored for each Child Site, so the right people get the right message. It is self-hosted, so monitoring is managed inside your own WordPress environment, and it can also connect with Uptime Robot, NodePing, Site24x7 and Better Uptime.
Features
- Checks every 5 minutes: Connected Child Sites are checked every 5 minutes, all day and night, so you have a steady record of whether each site is online.
- Follow-up verification: After detecting downtime, the extension runs another check within 3 minutes to confirm the problem before it alerts you, which helps reduce false alarms.
- Custom email alerts: Set up email notifications for each Child Site so the right team members receive the downtime alerts that are relevant to them.
- One central Dashboard: See the uptime status of all your connected Child Sites from a single MainWP Dashboard instead of opening each site separately.
- Monitoring service connections: Connect with Uptime Robot, NodePing, Site24x7 and Better Uptime to use their monitoring within the MainWP setup.
- Self-hosted monitoring: Uptime monitoring is managed inside your own WordPress environment, so your monitoring data does not rely only on third-party platforms.
- Monitor management tools: Create, edit, delete and duplicate monitors, with handling for missing data, API errors and rate limits when you work with connected providers.
Best for
- Agencies managing many client WordPress sites
- Freelancers who watch several sites from one Dashboard
- Site managers who want self-hosted uptime monitoring
