LearnDash LMS bbPress Integration

Online courses can feel isolating when students have nowhere to ask questions or compare notes. This plugin links LearnDash with bbPress, a popular WordPress forum plugin, so discussion boards sit alongside your course content. Learners can talk through topics, ask for help and collaborate with classmates without leaving the course environment.

Forums are linked to courses and access is granted to users when they enroll, so there is no extra manual setup for each student. You can keep a forum open to all site visitors or limit it to course participants. It suits course creators and educators who already use LearnDash and want a community space tied directly to their lessons.

Features

• Automatic forum access: Forum privileges are granted to users as soon as they purchase or register for a course, so enrolled students can join the discussion right away.
• Public or private forums: Set a forum to be visible to all site visitors, or restrict it so only course participants can read and post in it.
• Multiple forums per course: Associate more than one forum with a single course, which lets you organize topic-specific discussions around different modules or subjects in your curriculum.
• Custom access denied messages: Show personalized messages and helpful links to users who try to open a restricted forum, such as a link that points them to your course sales page.
• Associated forum widget: Add a course sidebar widget that displays the forums related to that course, giving students simple navigation to the discussions that matter to them.
• Built on LearnDash and bbPress: The add-on works with two familiar WordPress plugins, so you use tools and workflows you may already know, which reduces the learning curve.
• Peer-to-peer learning space: Forums inside courses encourage students to help each other and build a learner community around your educational content.
