Give PayPal Pro Gateway

Sending donors to an external payment page can break their train of thought and make some of them hesitate. This gateway addresses that by taking card payments directly on your donation form. Donors enter their details and finish the gift without leaving your site, so the experience stays consistent with your organization's own branding and tone.

The plugin works as an add-on to Give, so it fits into a donation setup you may already run. It accepts multiple currencies, supports one-time and recurring gifts, and gives you transaction reporting with donor data for bookkeeping. Payment details are protected with encryption and PCI compliance, which matters for any site that handles cards. Small charities and larger organizations can both use it.

Features

• On-site card processing: Donors pay with a credit or debit card directly on your website, so they are never redirected to an external payment page to complete a gift.
• Secure payment handling: Encryption and PCI compliance protect sensitive donor information, which helps keep card transactions secure while donors give through your forms.
• Multiple currency support: Accept donations in different currencies, which makes it practical for nonprofits that receive gifts from supporters in other countries.
• Works with the Give plugin: The gateway connects to the Give donations platform, so PayPal Pro payments can be added to the donation forms you already use.
• Donation reporting: View detailed transaction history and donor data to simplify bookkeeping and to review how your fundraising is going over time.
• Mobile-friendly checkout: The responsive checkout design lets donors give from a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer without trouble.
• Customizable payment forms: Adjust your donation forms to match your branding, so the payment step looks consistent with the rest of your site.
• One-time and recurring gifts: Support both single donations and recurring giving, so donors can choose the option that suits their preferences.
