FacetWP - Map Facet

Directories, property sites and store locators hold a lot of location data, and a plain list makes it hard to browse. The Map Facet puts that data on a map. Visitors can pick locations or draw areas on the map to narrow results, and the listings update to match what they selected.

It is built into FacetWP, so mapping works without a separate add-on. You can customize marker pins, group crowded points into clusters and separate overlapping markers so each entry stays clickable. Proximity search finds items within a set radius. The map works on mobile and fits layouts made with page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder and Bricks.

Features

• Built into FacetWP: The Map Facet is a built-in facet type in FacetWP, so mapping works out of the box without legacy add-ons or extra plugins to maintain.
• Interactive geographic filtering: Visitors can filter content by selecting locations or drawing areas on the map, which gives them a visual way to narrow down listings.
• Custom markers and clustering: Personalize marker pins and cluster crowded locations so maps with many points stay clear and easy to use.
• Overlapping marker spiderfier: Markers that sit on top of each other are separated automatically, so visitors can click and explore every entry in dense areas.
• Proximity search: Visitors can find listings within a chosen radius of a location, which suits nearby stores, services or attractions.
• Page builder compatibility: The map facet works with Elementor, Beaver Builder, Bricks and others, so you can embed it and style it inside custom layouts.
• Mobile responsive and touch-friendly: Map interactions are designed to work across devices, giving desktop and mobile visitors a consistent experience.
• Works with common WordPress tools: It runs alongside WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and WPML, and offers developer hooks and indexing options for custom map-based searches.
