Overview
Some forms should not be open to everyone, all the time. An event registration may need a cutoff date, a limited offer may need a cap on entries, and a members-only form should reach only the right users. Everest Forms Form Restriction handles these cases from within the form settings, so you do not need extra tools or code to control who can submit.
The plugin works inside Everest Forms, and you can combine several restriction criteria on a single form. When a visitor is blocked, they see a message you wrote instead of a dead end. It fits sites that run registrations, time-limited campaigns or content for members, and it also reduces unwanted or excessive entries.
Features
- Role-based restrictions: Limit who can submit a form by user role, so only the groups you choose can use it. This keeps forms aimed at the right audience.
- Submission limits: Set a maximum number of submissions for each form. Once the count is reached, the form closes, which helps manage responses during limited offers or exclusive promotions.
- Date-based access control: Schedule a form to be available only within a defined date range. This suits time-sensitive events, campaigns and registration periods.
- Custom restriction messages: Show your own message when a visitor is blocked from a form. People get a clear explanation of why the form is unavailable.
- Works inside Everest Forms: The restrictions are built into the Everest Forms platform, so setup needs no additional plugins and no coding knowledge.
- Combined restriction criteria: Use more than one condition on the same form, such as role, submission limit and date range, to match your exact requirements for availability.
- Less unwanted entry handling: Controlling who can submit and how many entries arrive reduces the administrative work and server load that come from unwanted or excessive submissions.
Best for
- Event organizers managing registrations with exclusive access
