Youtube Vimeo Video Player and Slider WP Plugin

Putting videos on a page is easy. Presenting several of them in a tidy, branded layout takes more work. This plugin handles both video platforms in one place. You enter a video ID, and the player and slider display the video on your page. Bloggers, marketers, educators and creatives can feature their own uploads or other videos they want to share.

The layout is responsive by default and works on iOS and Android devices as well as across major browsers. Color settings let you match the player and slider to your theme. For YouTube, the plugin pulls thumbnails, titles and descriptions from YouTube's servers, so you do not retype them. If your site uses an older, non-responsive design, you can turn responsiveness off.

Features

• YouTube and Vimeo support: Embed videos from both platforms by entering the video ID. You can mix your own content with videos from other creators in the same slider.
• Video slider display: Videos appear in a slider interface, so visitors can browse several clips in one compact area of the page instead of scrolling past stacked embeds.
• Mobile compatibility: The player and slider are built to play back and operate on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets as well as on desktop screens.
• Automatic metadata retrieval: Thumbnails, titles and descriptions are fetched from YouTube's servers automatically, which saves manual entry and keeps the displayed details in line with the source video.
• Customizable color schemes: Color settings let you adjust the look of the player and slider so they fit your site's branding and existing theme style.
• Responsive layout with opt-out: The layout adapts to different screen sizes out of the box. An option lets you disable responsiveness for older sites that are not responsive.
• YouTube API key support: You can enter your own YouTube API key to work around Google's quota restrictions, which helps keep video features running on busier sites.
• Cross-browser compatibility: The plugin is designed to work across major web browsers, so visitors get a consistent experience whichever one they use.
