Materil - WordPress Material Design Admin Theme

The default WordPress dashboard looks the same on every site, which can feel dated and hard to tailor for clients or teams. Materil replaces that look with a Material Design interface and lets you adjust most of it: global admin colors, menu colors, icons, the admin bar and the footer. The result is a backend that matches a brand or a personal taste.

Materil also gives you control over how the admin is organized. You can rename, remove or reorder menu and submenu items with drag and drop, and you can change the login page with your own logo, background color or background image. The interface is responsive and retina ready, so it reads clearly on desktops and high-resolution screens. Settings can be exported and imported, which helps when you manage several sites.

Features

• Admin color customization: Change the global admin colors, menu colors and admin bar colors so the dashboard matches your brand or your own preferences.
• Custom admin bar: Add a custom logo or admin name to the WordPress admin bar, or hide quick links to keep the bar simple.
• Drag-and-drop menu management: Rename, remove or reorder menu and submenu items with drag and drop, so the admin navigation follows the way you work.
• Branded login page: Upload your own logo, pick a background color or set a background image to give users a login screen that fits your site.
• Editable admin footer: Adjust the footer text and the version display at the bottom of the dashboard to show your own information or branding.
• Local font option: Disable Google's Open Sans font and use a local version instead, which can help with loading and privacy concerns.
• Import and export settings: Back up your configuration or move it to another site, so you can reuse the same setup across several WordPress installations.
• Responsive retina-ready layout: The Material Design interface adapts to different screen sizes and high-resolution displays, keeping the admin readable on any device.
