Easy Digital Downloads - Upload File

Some digital products can't be fulfilled until the customer sends something: a logo, a photo, a design brief or another creative asset. Collecting those files by email is slow and easy to lose track of. Easy Digital Downloads – Upload File moves that step into checkout, so the files arrive with the order itself.

Store owners can set up upload fields with their own labels and instructions, and limit which file types and sizes are accepted. Uploaded files are linked to the matching purchase and can be viewed from the Easy Digital Downloads admin area. It suits designers, photographers and other vendors who need customer files before they can deliver.

Features

• File uploads at checkout: Customers submit their files while they check out, so the materials needed for a custom order are collected securely at the moment of purchase.
• Multiple files per purchase: Buyers can upload more than one file with a single order, which helps with custom work that needs several assets.
• Customizable upload fields: Edit the field labels and instructions so customers know exactly what to send for each product.
• File type and size limits: Choose which file formats and sizes are accepted, which helps keep submissions suitable and avoids overloading the server.
• Files linked to orders: Each uploaded file is attached to its purchase automatically, which keeps order management and fulfillment organized.
• Admin notifications and access: Get alerts when new files arrive and open submitted files from the Easy Digital Downloads admin panel.
• Mobile-friendly uploading: The upload field is responsive, so customers can send files from phones and tablets as well as desktops.
• Works with payment gateways: The plugin works with the payment gateways supported by Easy Digital Downloads, so checkout keeps its usual flow.
