Easy Digital Downloads - Simple Shipping

Digital products rarely need shipping, but many stores also sell physical items, bundles or merchandise next to their downloads. Easy Digital Downloads – Simple Shipping covers that gap. It calculates shipping costs inside your existing store, so buyers see clear rates at checkout and there are fewer surprises when they pay.

You set the rules from a straightforward settings panel that needs no coding. Rates can follow the total value of an order or the number of items in it, whichever fits your product mix. You can also offer more than one shipping method, letting customers choose the option that suits their budget and delivery preference. The plugin is built for Easy Digital Downloads and works with the store you already have.

Features

• Rates by order total: Set shipping costs according to the total value of an order, so the fee matches how much a customer is buying.
• Rates by item quantity: Base shipping on the number of items in the cart, which suits stores where the cost of sending goods grows with each additional product.
• Multiple shipping options: Offer several shipping methods at checkout so customers can pick the one that fits their budget and delivery preference.
• Shipping costs shown at checkout: Customers see the shipping fee during checkout, which keeps the final amount clear before they complete the purchase.
• Simple settings panel: Manage your shipping rules from a plain settings screen. No coding knowledge is needed to set up or change rates.
• Physical and digital bundles: Sell combined product types and apply shipping calculations only where they are needed, so purely digital orders stay free of shipping.
• Built for Easy Digital Downloads: The plugin is made exclusively for Easy Digital Downloads, so it fits into the store setup you already use.
• Shipping address and email handling: Existing shipping addresses attach to orders at checkout, and emails support conditional email tags for messages that depend on the order.
