Easy Digital Downloads - License Free Download

Stores built on Easy Digital Downloads often sell products that carry licensing checks. That makes sense for paid items, but it adds friction when you only want to give something away, such as a sample, a free resource or a bonus file. This add-on removes the license requirement for the products you choose, so a free item does not ask the visitor to deal with keys or verification.

You decide which products are license-free, and the rest of your catalog stays as it is. The plugin keeps to the security standards of Easy Digital Downloads and can be adapted to your store requirements and branding, so the download journey looks consistent. It suits creators, developers and store owners who already run Easy Digital Downloads and want a simpler way to share free files.
