Easy Digital Downloads - Check Payment Gateway

Some customers and organizations prefer to pay by check, or are required to. A store that only takes cards and other online methods can lose those buyers. This plugin adds checks as another payment option inside EDD, so your digital sales flow stays the same while customers get a traditional way to pay. It works with the currency settings already configured in your EDD store.

When a customer picks check at checkout, the order is marked pending. Once the check arrives and is confirmed, you update the order to complete. Customizable payment instructions tell buyers how and where to send the check. The setup needs little technical knowledge, which suits small and medium-sized businesses, nonprofits and educational institutions that want to widen their payment options.

Features

• Check option at checkout: Adds check payment as a choice in the EDD checkout, sitting alongside credit cards and other online payment methods without changing your existing digital sales flow.
• Pending and complete statuses: Orders are marked pending when placed and move to complete once the check is received and confirmed, which keeps your transactions organized.
• Custom payment instructions: Write your own directions telling customers how and where to send their checks, which helps cut down on confusion and delays.
• Manage from the dashboard: Handle check payments and orders directly in your WordPress dashboard, which simplifies bookkeeping and financial tracking.
• Order held until validation: No order is finalized until the check is validated, which helps guard against payment errors and fraud.
• Simple setup: The configuration process is intuitive and asks for minimal technical knowledge, so you can add the gateway to your store without much effort.
• Multiple currency support: Works with the various currency settings configured in your EDD store, which suits businesses selling to customers in different countries.
• EDD Email Management support: The plugin is built to work with EDD Email Management and loads in a way designed for compatibility with EDD and other extensions.
