Directorist Listings Slider & Carousel

A directory with many listings can feel flat when everything appears in a plain list. This plugin gives you slider and carousel layouts for Directorist listings, so you can put selected entries in front of visitors in a compact, interactive block. It is built to work with Directorist, so it fits into a directory you already run without changing how you manage your listings.

You can adjust colors, fonts, navigation arrows and slide speed, and place a slider with a shortcode or a widget. Several sliders can exist at once, which lets you set up different ones for different categories or pages. It suits business directories, real estate portals and event listing sites, and developers can extend it through hooks.

Features

• Built for Directorist: The plugin works with the Directorist plugin, so your existing listings can appear in slider and carousel layouts without a change to how you run the directory.
• Multiple layout options: Pick from a range of slider and carousel styles to present your listings in the way that best suits the design of your website.
• Adjustable design controls: Change colors, fonts, navigation arrows and slide speed so the slider matches your branding. No coding knowledge is needed to set these up.
• Responsive on any device: Sliders adapt to desktop, tablet and mobile screens, so listings stay readable and consistent whichever device a visitor uses.
• Touch and swipe support: Visitors on phones and tablets can move through listings with swipe gestures, which makes browsing the slider feel natural on touch screens.
• Lazy loading for images: Images in the slider load only when they come into view, which avoids loading every listing picture at once.
• Shortcodes and widgets: Place a slider anywhere on your site using a simple shortcode or a dedicated widget, with no technical work required.
• Featured or latest listings: Highlight chosen listings, or let the slider display the newest entries automatically. Multiple sliders can serve different categories or pages.
