Directorist - BuddyPress Integration

A directory site often treats listings and people as separate things. Visitors browse entries, but there is little room for members to get to know each other. Directorist – BuddyPress Integration addresses this by linking Directorist listings to BuddyPress member profiles, so each member's listings can appear next to their social information.

Once connected, directory members can use BuddyPress features such as activity feeds, private messaging, notifications and groups. Access rules control who can view, add or interact with listings and profiles. It suits business directories, niche communities and local listings sites that want members to connect around the listings they publish.

Features

• Listings synced to profiles: Directory listings synchronize automatically with BuddyPress profiles, so members' listings appear on their user profiles without extra manual work.
• Unified user experience: Directorist listings and BuddyPress member profiles work together, giving users one connected environment for browsing, networking and managing their presence.
• Social engagement tools: Members can use BuddyPress activity feeds, private messaging and notifications to interact with one another around the directory's content.
• Customizable profile layouts: Profile layouts can display directory listing details alongside social information, so each member page presents both sides of their activity.
• Membership-based access control: Manage who can view, add or interact with listings and profiles, which helps you set clear rules for your community.
• BuddyPress groups support: Groups let you build niche communities inside your directory website, gathering members who share a topic, place or interest.
• Networking by listing or interest: Users can connect with others based on listings, locations or interests, which gives the directory more room for member-to-member contact.
• Add-on and extension compatibility: The plugin works with popular Directorist add-ons and BuddyPress extensions, and its mobile-friendly design keeps navigation workable on all devices.
