MediaPress Media Moderator

Communities that let members upload media need a way to keep that content in line with their guidelines. Checking uploads one by one, or scattered across different screens, takes time and invites mistakes. MediaPress Media Moderator gathers pending media into a single moderation dashboard, so moderators can review items and make decisions from one screen.

The plugin is built for the BuddyPress and MediaPress setup. Flagging works from user reports or keywords you define, and you can set your own moderation rules to match your community's policies. Permissions follow user roles, moderator actions are logged, and members are told what happened to their submissions. It suits both small niche groups and busier social sites.

Features

• Central moderation dashboard: All pending media appears in one place, so moderators can review submissions and make approval decisions without hunting through separate screens.
• Photo, video and audio support: Moderators handle photos, videos and audio uploads together, which keeps community standards consistent across every media type members share.
• Automated flagging and alerts: Content can be flagged automatically from user reports or predefined keywords, helping moderators spot possible violations quickly.
• Role-based access control: Assign moderation permissions to different user roles, so each member of your team has the access their work requires.
• Moderation action logs: Detailed records of moderator actions give your team a clear history of who decided what, which supports transparency and accountability.
• Customizable moderation rules: Define your own content policies and thresholds so moderation reflects your community's guidelines and values.
• User notifications: Members are informed about the status of their media submissions, so they know whether an upload was approved or rejected.
• Bulk moderation and mobile use: Approve or reject several items at once, and moderate from any device thanks to a responsive interface.
