BuddyPress Emoji

Plain text can make community conversations feel flat. BuddyPress Emoji gives members a way to add tone and reaction to what they write. It is built for BuddyPress-powered websites, so emojis appear where members already talk: in the activity stream, in comments on updates, and in private messages.

Members pick emojis from an easy selection interface, whatever their tech skill. Administrators can choose which emoji sets are available and where emojis appear. The plugin fits niche interest groups, professional networks and general social communities that want a friendlier place to talk, and it works on desktops, tablets and smartphones.

Features

• Works in activity updates: Members can add emojis to posts in the BuddyPress activity stream, so everyday updates carry more expression than text alone.
• Emojis in comments: Emoji support extends to comments on activity items, letting members react and reply in a lighter, more personal way.
• Private message support: Emojis are available in BuddyPress private messages, so one-to-one conversations can include the same expressive options as public posts.
• Wide range of emojis: A collection of diverse emoticons covers many moods and reactions, giving members plenty of choice when they write.
• Easy emoji picker: The selection interface is intuitive, so members of any tech skill level can add an emoji to a post quickly.
• Mobile friendly: Members can insert emojis from desktops, tablets or smartphones, so the feature works on whatever device they use.
• Admin controls: Administrators can configure which emoji sets are available and where emojis appear, keeping control over the member experience.
