LearnDash LMS BadgeOS Addon

Online courses can feel flat when learners get no sign of progress beyond a completion screen. This addon adds a badge and achievement layer to LearnDash through BadgeOS. You decide what earns recognition, and learners see their milestones turn into awards they can collect.

Badges can be issued automatically when a learner completes a lesson, passes a quiz or finishes a course. You can also require an assignment submission before a badge is earned, or grant an award by hand for something that happened outside the system. Learners can share badges on Facebook and Twitter, and store them in Mozilla OpenBadges or Credly so they keep their credentials beyond your site.

Features

• Unlimited achievements: Define as many custom achievements as you need, so different milestones and skill areas in your courses can each have their own recognition.
• Assignment-based badges: Require learners to submit an assignment before they qualify for a badge, so the award reflects work they actually completed in the course.
• Manual badge issuing: Grant a badge by hand for special recognition or for accomplishments that happen outside the learning system.
• Automatic awards: Badges can be given automatically when a learner completes a lesson, passes a quiz or finishes a whole course.
• Social sharing: Learners can share the badges they earn on popular social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
• Digital badge backpacks: Earned badges can be stored in Mozilla OpenBadges and Credly, so learners can manage and display their credentials elsewhere.
• Points and ranks support: Gamify a course with points and badges. LearnDash activity triggers work with ranks and points to reward learner participation.

Best for

• Course creators running LearnDash who want gamified learning
