MemberPress BuddyPress

A membership site often has good content but little interaction between members. MemberPress BuddyPress addresses this by bringing BuddyPress social tools, such as member profiles, activity streams and private messaging, into a site already run with MemberPress. Members can share updates, form connections and take part in discussions without leaving the site.

The plugin applies MemberPress access rules to BuddyPress features, so only the right members reach exclusive groups, discussions or events. Access follows subscription changes, which keeps day-to-day administration manageable. It suits organizations, clubs and online learning sites that want a protected community alongside tiered content.

Features

• MemberPress and BuddyPress together: Combines MemberPress membership management with BuddyPress social networking, so one WordPress site can offer both gated content and an interactive community for its members.
• Protected social groups: Restrict BuddyPress groups to specific membership levels, so discussions, events and shared content are open only to the members who are meant to see them.
• Customizable member profiles: Members can personalize their profiles and interact with each other, while you control who can view or join based on their membership status.
• Automatic access control: MemberPress rules grant or revoke BuddyPress community features automatically when members upgrade, downgrade or cancel their subscriptions, so you do not adjust access by hand.
• Gated groups and forums: Place groups and forums behind membership levels to encourage member participation and give each subscription tier its own community space.
• Central member management: Oversee subscription status, group participation and member activity from one interface, which keeps community administration in a single place.
• Works with other MemberPress add-ons: Supports other MemberPress add-ons such as Courses, Quizzes and Easy Affiliate, so the community can sit alongside learning and affiliate features.
• Responsive community layout: The community pages are built to be mobile responsive, so members can use groups and profiles across different devices.
