bbPress for AMP

Forums built with bbPress usually do not carry over to AMP pages on their own. bbPress for AMP closes that gap. It adds forum capabilities to the AMP version of a WordPress site with one click and no coding, so community discussions stay available to people reading on a phone.

The plugin keeps the familiar bbPress experience: forums, topics, replies and user interactions. Forum and topic lists appear in a clean layout that mirrors the desktop design, and visitors can read discussions and submit replies from AMP pages. It works with major AMP plugins, including AMP by Automattic, and is aimed at site owners who run a community forum and want it to fit their AMP setup.

Features

• One-click bbPress integration: Add bbPress forum functionality to your AMP pages with a single click and no coding, which makes it simple to bring an existing forum into your mobile setup.
• Forum and topic listings: Forums and topics display in a clean, AMP-optimized layout that mirrors your desktop design, so the forum looks consistent from one device to the next.
• Reply and discussion submission: Visitors can follow ongoing discussions and submit replies directly from AMP pages, so people can take part in conversations from their phones.
• Works with major AMP plugins: The plugin is compatible with major AMP plugins, including AMP by Automattic, so your forum pages can pass AMP validation.
• Consistent user experience: The intuitive bbPress interface carries over into the AMP environment, so members find forum participation familiar and responsive on any device.
• Full forum structure on AMP: Forums, topics, replies and user interactions all remain part of the AMP version, so you keep the same rich bbPress forum experience on mobile.
• Guides and documentation: Setup guides and documentation are available to help you get started and resolve issues as you configure the plugin on your site.
