Overview
Customer accounts hold order history and personal details, and a password alone can be a weak lock. WooCommerce Two Factor Authentication adds a second step to the WooCommerce login page. After a customer enters a username or email, the login screen shows an OTP field and a Send OTP button. The login button stays hidden until the code has been sent, so the steps happen in the right order.
The plugin also covers a task many stores handle by hand: getting a customer to sign off on a file. After a purchase, a shop manager can share a file with the customer, who approves or rejects it and can leave a message explaining the choice. The exchange continues until the file is approved. It suits stores that want safer logins and a clear record of approvals in one place.
Features
- WooCommerce login integration: Two-factor authentication is added directly to the WooCommerce login page, so customers verify themselves in the same place they already sign in.
- Email-based OTP verification: A unique One-Time Password goes to the customer's registered email address. Only someone who can read that inbox can finish logging in.
- Step-by-step login flow: The OTP field and Send OTP button appear after the username or email is entered. The login button stays hidden until the code is sent.
- File sharing after purchase: Shop managers can share files with customers once an order is placed, giving both sides a simple way to review documents tied to a sale.
- Approve or reject files: Customers can approve or reject each shared file, so the shop manager knows where every document stands without chasing replies elsewhere.
- Customer messages on decisions: Customers can leave a message explaining why they approved or rejected a file, which keeps communication clear until the file is approved.
- Customer-friendly interface: The interface is designed to be easy to use, so customers can complete authentication and file approval without extra guidance.
- Optimized CSS and JavaScript: The plugin is built with optimized CSS and JavaScript, which helps keep added weight on your pages low while the extra login step is in place.
