Give Gift Aid

UK charities that claim Gift Aid need a signed declaration from each eligible donor, and collecting those by hand takes time. Give Gift Aid places the opt-in on your GiveWP forms, explains the scheme in clear wording, and records each declaration as the donation comes in. Donors from the United Kingdom can raise the value of their gift by 25% at no extra cost to them.

The add-on also handles the admin that follows. It generates PDF declaration forms, offers to reuse a donor's billing address, and shows the Gift Aid option only to donors in the UK. You can turn it on for every form or only for selected campaigns. Exports in CSV format give you the data you need when you file your claim.

Features

• Gift Aid opt-in on donation forms: Eligible donors in the United Kingdom can choose Gift Aid while they donate, which raises the value of their gift by 25% at no extra cost to them.
• Customizable donor messaging: Write your own wording to explain what Gift Aid is and why opting in matters. An optional link can lead donors to a more detailed explanation.
• Automated PDF declaration forms: The plugin generates Gift Aid declaration PDFs that donors can keep, and your organization holds the records it needs for compliance.
• Smart address detection: Donors are asked whether they want to reuse their billing address for the Gift Aid declaration, so they type less and the form stays short.
• Country detection: The Gift Aid option appears only for donors based in the UK. International supporters see a form without extra fields they cannot use.
• Global and per-form settings: Enable or disable Gift Aid across all donation forms or on selected ones, so each campaign can have the setup that suits it.
• Bulk CSV export: Export Gift Aid declarations and donation data in bulk as CSV files, which helps with tax claims and financial tracking.
• Works with GiveWP gateways: Gift Aid works with any payment gateway that GiveWP supports, so you can keep the gateways you already use.
